Triangle Project in collaboration with Out in Africa Gay and Lesbian Film Festival present on Sunday, 18March 2007 a workshop "Untie your Tongue Spoken Word – not a conversation piece!"

Alix Olson is a talented spoken word poet and a dynamic performer and is a guest of the Out In Africa Film Festival.

Alix will be conducting a workshop, in Johannesburg and Cape Town, for poets who’d like to be heard, literally. The 2-hour workshop begins with a warm up session, first for the body and then the mind, then using these exercises to write a short poem, and finally creating the performances.

Alix is the subject of the film LEFT LANE which is screening at the Festival - see Out In Africa programme / website for details (www.oia.co.za).
