Out In Africa Film Festival

Out In Africa Film FestivalOut In Africa is dedicated to strengthening a homegrown film industry, to seeing more queer films being made here. Since 2004 Out In Africa has produced 16 short films of varying lengths from three filmmaking workshops. All of these films travel to international festivals .

This Festival edition includes the three short films that were made in November 2005 on the Telling Tales workshop under the mentorship of Swiss filmmaker Patricia Plattner. Please make a point of seeing the results – Ndim Ndim by Martha Quba, Wanted by Lisa Holland and Tai Chi for Tipplers by Jennifer Radloff and Karen Rutter.
